Not for the sake of BITCHN about our hometown spirit.
But Philadelphia does have a serious negative lining or dark cloud surrounding the entire city. Much like an invisible H bomb cloud. Its not just the crime, the pointless shootings the blank stares or the destructive disgruntled typical angry looks that we see everyday of the common folk of Philly natives. Because anywhere else has their share of crime obviously it is the world that we live in and it’s almost unavoidable. Considering that anywhere in Philadelphia or not just Philadelphia you have to really keep in mind of your surroundings terrorist attack, snipers etc. etc. But the thing that erks me well ,one of the many things that erks me about Philadelphia. Is a person cannot so much as scratch their nose without paranoia of everyone staring at them thinking that someone is going to blow your head off even during the daylight. Can you say ridiculousness? I know I’m not the only one has said this everyone here is so paranoid even during the day you could be just reaching for your cell phone and everyone thinks it’s a gun ((dear God in heaven)) what the hell? There was a time where you didn’t have to worry about making a sudden moves and it still exists today even in places like New York you can move freely without people constantly watching you or any move you make by simply removing something from out of your pocket I feel more at ease there even halfway in Jersey than I do here in Philadelphia. The other thing is of course SEPTA and they’re sinking ship for service the ever-increasing fare hikes why why why and why we are the highest in the nation? It does not make sense at all. All they do is sign temporary contract for a solution why not just bring in the obvious, another Transit company? We all know the answer to that one we’ve all said the same thing… Greed. even with their snarling attitudes when you ask them questions for directions which I’ve had one too many times and had to pretty much tell them about themselves multiple times it makes you wonder why are they even not having a social class for their workers?. Even new company are truly almost Flawless they’re always going to have flaws that’s the way of life but to the point where you have to keep raising- raising and raising more fare hikes for what reason does that accomplish?

Of course another reason is financial stability here. The job situation!! Philadelphia is a Underground very very hardcore technical Workhorse kind of town. And always has been an underground driving like City compared to New York. Nothing wrong with that-nothing wrong with that at all. We have had so much talent come from out of here. However everyone leaves to make it. I have never seen it to fail here ever. for myself its taking me 6 to finally get back on my feet Yes , 6 staggering angerfiying long hard years to finally get back on to my feet. An absolute hard survival obviously this is what the city is built on and evidently the Strong Survive but Jesus Christmas ?! 6 years to finally get employment? An employment that’s not even permanent even though everything is temporary. As a result finally I have my life back where it’s just like, I totally forgot what it’s like to feel in accord. Job losses unbelievable yes everyone is going through losses in their time especially now but enough’s enough. The main thing is when I explain these different things to people here no one seems to believe it’s as if they’re living a giant facade and refused to give up on the Philadelphia spirit. GREAT GOOOD FOR YOU KEEP BELIEVING. I guess I would be the same if I could not see past my job and only my job is just my life in such a cripple one legged Place such as this city. For I myself am beyond frustrated and done with it. I am just tired of wasting skin an aging for empty promise.

Philadelphia functions as an entire whole shiny Pinto with one flat tire and one working headlight. I’m not expecting to find Utopia in another area but at least pretty much close would do me just swell. what I’m saying is I’m looking for a better opportunity because here the whole pool for opportunity truly there is nothing. People travel outside the city to do what they love the most. I do not get is why is it with all these empty factories / lots that are around the Philadelphia area or even the empty spaces why is it they cannot just bring a few companies here to this city.? That would do true justice to some of the problems but then again I guess that would be too typical of an easy answer considering that maybe it would put a lot of the people who do take advantage of the little guy to put them out of whack considering that people need jobs here in this stinking Cesspool of a fucking City. when I tell people about these things from other cities I cringe at the fact that they laugh at me or us as a city. just because I told them the problems that go on here and they are making their ongoing continuing accomplishments. while I myself or we , struggle with the same every year. Problems. As a result I myself will be joining the account of other Philly natives in the decrease population of Philadelphia in some months. To moving from the city. I am very tired and very angry and tired of being angry and tired of going through the same thing year after year, after year to make ends meet.
