Yo, I’m from Philly and think this site it OK, I find it pretty funny you put a lot of work into it. But dude get a freakin life!!!!! You so need to get out of the house!!!! Move out of your mothers basement meet a girl or guy for that matter if you go that way.

Yes we haven’t won in a hell of a loooooooooooooooooong time but you see we still support.

OH and how about growing a pair and put your name and picture on the site. I’m sure there are a lot of people in this area that would love to keep your face in mind just in case they come by you. Unlike me because I can care less you the hell you are.

its really gotta suck living here as a native sports fan, i grew up in
newyork, so i do not understand the pain of never experiencing a
championship.

football:

giants, rams, tampa, carolina, patriots, saints, these teams all turned
back the eagles during the 6 year run.

the eagles are on the door step for 6 years and fail each time, then the
giants come out of no where and win in the greatest upset ever,
thats gotta sting! now dallas and washington are jokeying to pass the
eagles to add to their cities championships.

hockey:

a last minute injury, and potential sweep in 2008. now you have to sit
back and watch a city like stinkin detroit with
2 teams on the doorstep…redwings and pistons. a few years back, who
would have thought tampa would be such a pain, hockey and football.

basketball:

alan iverson and chris weber….enough said! i am a knick fan, so i can
feel your pain in this sport.

base ball:

10,000 losses…alteast your first in something. im a yankee fan, so its
not worth even making that comparison.

good luck philly fans….quit smoking, wear your seat belts, eat
healthy….you may have to live a long time before you see a championship!!

I have been a lifelong resident of the Philadelphia area. I have stopped following professionals sports for a variety of reasons. First and foremost? Because off all the bone heads that post nonsense on sites like this. Professional sports have made lemmings out of all the fans, regardless of their “city affiliation”. I did the math a long time ago on the Eagles football team. 65,000 seats at $ 80.00 a ticket. That’s 5.2 million per game times 8 regular season games is $41.6 million per year. Throw in another 10 million for pre-season and some food sales and you’re at =/- 52 million dollars. That pays the salary of your top 5 players. Now what? My point is that without advertisers and TV revenue, the whole ship would sink. In other words, they could play before EMPTY STADIUMS and STILL make millions. The fans are in actuality IRRELEVENT. But you suckers keep shelling out big money for mediocre performances so you can live vicariously “through your teams”. PLUS, what other business on earth exists where the losers STILL collect their paychecks? You want to see some REAL effort on the field? Make a new rule in all pro sports. You lose the game, you forfeit your paycheck for that week. Then you will see these Prima Donnas actually “leave it all on the field”. (for those of you that don’t know what the characteristics of a Prima Donna are, here goes. Legendarily, these “prima donnas” were often regarded as egotistical, unreasonable and irritable, with a rather high opinion of themselves not shared by others.

PT Barnum was right. A sucker is born every day. Your website is full of them and so are the stadiums and arenas.
