A while back you mentioned that there aren't too many Giants fans that are members of mensa. No question about that. We can be just as arrogant and idiotic as Iggles fans. However, we do tend to behave with a bit more humility. Like when our team goes 5-11 you won't hear us telling you how much your team sucks. Or when when we play the Egirls you won't hear local sports radio stations spouting off that "the Giants are going to crush the Philly Birds" when there is no basis for it. We might mention a Superbowl victory or two, but that's it.

Question for Birds fans: Why must you all embarass yourselves publicly by constantly doing that stupid mob chant? I notice that they never do it when they are alone.

I went through your little website you put up and its nuttin but piece of shit. You obviously aren't from philly because you don't know the passion we have for our teams and the players. As long as they give 100% and even if they don't win, we'll still be cheering for them. I'd rather see them lose while giving it their all then win and not give their all. Why do you think Abreu got traded and now we want Burell gone too? The Eagles will bounce back, they always will and with McNabb at quarterback, i have full confidence because he's the best quarterback this team has had (better than Jaworski or Cunningham). He has the best playoff record and 2nd lowest interception ratio in NFL history. He's also the one who got us the closest to winning a Super Bowl. Plus with this defense, as long as the line and secondary hold up, we should be fine. Donte Stallworth shows he is going to be a great reciever and i like Westbrook and Buckhalter for the running game. Not to mention we have the best Offensive line and kicker in NFC. Subject: Eagles Suck Unfortunately

I was an Eagles fan for a long time. When they lost the division to Tampa Bay in January 2004 I finally began to wane. When you look back on all the years, you start to ask yourself , "who needs this?". It doesn't seem to matter who the coaches are or who the players are, they take you close to satisfaction but then they blow it. How much of this sort of crap can a thinking person really stand? Sunday's game against the Giants was a classic example. They were manhandling the Giants on offense and defense, had a 17 point lead and LOST in overtime!. How can you call yourselves a professional sports team and allow that? That would have been a fluke for most teams, but it is a fairly common occurrence for an Eagle Fan. As an Eagle fan you don't begin to get comfortable at a game until the Eagles have a 3 TD lead and there is only maybe 10 minutes left to play.

The often hated Philadelphia Sports Fan that outsiders see, is really a frustrated fan. The people in that city truly support their teams but are constantly let down. That is why you see what you see. The entire city would be better off telling all their pro sports teams to go to hell and find something better to do.

Look folks, we know deep inside our sports teams suck. As a large city , we would like to win a championship also now and then, but these high paid professional assholes continually let us down. The team ownership doesn't worry because that stink or not, the Philly Fan will show up and pay. The Philly Fans need to correct that. Year after year, finally frustration gets the best of you. Away from sports, Philly people are not all that bad.

Subject: Flyers fans suck, 39 years and counting

To all the Flyer fans living in Jersey, go home (meaning, back to that dump of a city they call Filthadelphia with the rest of the jackass Flyer fans). We don't need any more jerkoff redneck fans in this state (NJ) than we already have. I despise Flyer fans with a passion unsurpassed by any.

Oddly enough, I think the Flyers (the team) is fairly respectable. The Flyers have some quality players, have generated some decent stats and are overall a pretty good team. My problem isn't with the the Flyers, it's with the fans. Flyer fans are the biggest bunch of spastic morons I have ever had to deal with.

I have worked in south jersey for over 10 years and have had my fair share of confrontations with idiot Flyer fans. Needless to say, they were mostly ignorant, beligerent, and mainly unedcuated about the sport of hockey (ask most Flyer fans what a 1-2-2 defense is and they'll sit there with the most dumbfounded look on their face).

Now, you might be wondering about the reasons I got into confrontations with them? simple. I was always wearing some type of NJ Devils attire to remind them what state they were in. That's right you Flyer fan dolts, it's NJ. Let me spell that out for you New Jersey. And it irritated them to high heaven that someone had the balls to rub it in their face that they were a Devils fan. It's pretty sad that the newspapers (well, it's paper with print on it anyways, calling it a "newspaper" might by a bit of a over-statement) in South JERSEY don't even cover the Devil's schedule. That's how pathetic it is down there.

Oh and then there's that whole "Why don't you come down here and say it to our faces?" Well, I have. MANY times. And I'll *keep* on doing it (much to the dismay of the all the mindless Flyer fans in south jersey). Flyer fans have that "group" mentality.(It's very similar to monkeys actually) If you confront just one of them face to face, they don't have such big mouths anymore. They get "tough" once their numbers grow.

I could go on and on about how Flyer fans are the laughing stock of the NHL but, there's simply not enough time in the day.

In conclusion, Flyer fans are the worst thing to ever happen to hockey.

P.S. And please spare me about the attendance record at CAA. While we only do fill about 70% of our seats, at least we don't have drunk 40 year olds starting fights with 11 year olds because they're not wearing "orange and black". Idiots. Oh yeah, nice paper hats you guys wore during the '06 playoffs. I almost pissed myself laughing when I seen you morons wearing those things!

Very cool site. One of my best friends is from Philly and as die-hard of a Philly Sports fan as they come. Me, I’m on the other side…I’m as die-hard of a Dallas Sports fan as they come. I’ve had the joy of watching the Cowboys and Stars winning Championships, with the Mavs coming ever so close for the first time last year…however the true example of loserville has got to be my beloved Texas Rangers, the Cubs of the American League. I would venture to say that the City of Philly will hoist some type of Championship from one of the 4 major sports, before the Rangers even sniff an appearance in the World Series.

I respect the loyalty of the Eagle fans, but I must say that I truly HATE HATE HATE the Eagles.

I was celebrating when the Eagles fell apart and let T.O. walk away for nothing, and I was one of the few who was hoping he would come to Dallas. Nothing would make Eagle fans crazier than to see T.O. succeed in Dallas, to the point of winning a Championship!!! When this happens, you must post on your site, how Philly is so bad that it simply gives away championships to the Cowboys!!!
